It's good to know the fix is applicable for other systems. The AlienBBC
is a beta to get feedback on whether the change (amongst others) broke
some systems.

However the mplayer command lines in the most recent logs are not the
same as the mplayer command lines in the first few posts - something has
been changed since this thread has started.  If something has been
changed, then new XM plugin users may have to make the same mod.
