Just wanted to let potentials know that I got squeezecenter working on
the latest nexenta release.

I compiled the latest perl 5.10 from sources and removed the CPAN
directory and replaced necessary contents by doing cpan install for
missing components (trial and terror or intelligently by reading names
from CPAN directory).

Audio::Scan had one module which didn't pass all tests correctly (ape
files were 1 ms short for some reason) but I forced an install and it
works well for flac/mp3/m4a files.

Had to change slimserver.pl to use #!/usr/bin/perl but otherwise used
the wiki page to make an SMF service to autostart squeezecenter.

Currently autoupdate breaks things a bit it seems (overwrites all files
and puts back CPAN etc) so I've turned that off.

I use mercurial to manage changes including prefs locally so updates
are fairly trivial to incorporate - but it would be nice if slimdevices
could host a mercurial repository instead of subversion.... updates
would be a mere "hg pull;hg update" away with typically brilliant
merging from hg.

It runs well so far (used 7.4 for a week).
