Thanks.  I will give that ago too, but before I do I want to check
something.  When slimserver.pl runs, is it expecting to find the
required modules in /opt/squeezecenter/CPAN or @INC as defined in perl
-V?

If the modules need to be in /opt/squeezecenter/CPAN, what is the
recommended method for putting them their?
