I've hit an immediate issue in that build-perl-modules.pl is trying to download Audio-Scan-0.26.tar.gz but the version on http://svn.slimdevices.com/repos/slim/7.4/trunk/vendor/CPAN/ is Audio-Scan-0.38.tar.gz. This could be a slog. I'll update this thread if and when I make any progress..
