I have had problems with newer versions of squeezeslave and Ubuntu so I have pretty much frozen on an older version.
I use squeezeslave 0.8-25 with server version 7.4 without problems. However, everything I play is mp3 so I don't know how stable it is with flac or internet radio formats.
