I have just installed Squeeze Server 7.4.1. on FreeNas 0.7 using SlimNAS 2.0.1 and Michael Herger exelent recepee.
However I'm unable to start the slimserver. I looked into the log and it says: [09-12-09 22:23:02.0983] main::init (320) Starting Squeezebox Server (v7.4.1, r28947, Tue Oct 20 08:02:44 PDT 2009) perl 5.008009 [09-12-09 22:23:36.7389] Slim::Utils::MySQLHelper::createSystemTables (500) FATAL: Couldn't connect to database: [Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)] My FreeNAS skills are at the beginner stage so I'm not able to tell if there is anything wrong with mySQL. I'm runnning the embedded version of FreeNAS, does that matter? Anyone who have any ideas on what is wrong?
