I find that automated cover art tools don't get the highest-quality art. I like to get 500x500 pixel images that display well on my iPod Touch using iPeng.
The sources I use: 1. amazon.com. Find the album in question and look at customer images, if any. There is usually a very good 500x500 pixel image in the bunch. 2. Google images. Go to http://images.google.com and type in the artist and album name. You'll get a bunch of matches to check out and select the best one. 3. Download the selected image and store it in cover.jpg (or folder.jpg) in the album directory in your SqueezeBox Server library. You'll wind up with much higher-quality album art doing this than using any automated tool, but it will take you more time to do it. -- Ron Olsen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ron Olsen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9233 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74303 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
