I´ve been having trouble with the Squeezeboxserver host computer browser
interface since installation of the 7.5.1 update from 7.4.2 on my
Ubuntu 9.10 machine. Trouble, in that attempting to open:
http://192.168.1.100:9000/ - results in: ¨Unable to connect Firefox
can't establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.100:9000.¨

ps on a terminal indicates squeezeboxserver is up and running, but I
can contact it through its own host computer.

Today I´ve installed Ubuntu 10.04 release candidate on a new hard
drive, and after attempting to install squeezeboxserver 7.5.1, I´m
getting the same thing.

Are there permissions, or network port openings, or something else
important that I am missing here? Can someone direct me to current
documentation that I can use to set this up? Most of the old pages at
slimdevices.com seem to be gone, and I can´t find anything pertinent.

Thanks
