I haven't played around with Samba yet, but this is like the changes made to the way MySQL is run as a service. 'Upstart' (http://upstart.ubuntu.com/) is used instead of starting via the old /etc/init.d/mysqld script. I have yet to be able restart MySQL correctly using the new method and it's driving me nuts. Often when I issue sudo restart mysql it just hangs there, without returning me to a prompt. I have to ^C out of it. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=78197 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
