Snap. I actually wasted two days on this, getting very frustrated. At one point I deinstalled and wiped all installed ports and the ports tree (this is in a jail running just SBS, so not such a big deal) and rebuilt the port and all dependencies from scratch, yet the scanner still failed to work.
