Thank you everyone for jumping in on the conversation. I had the same success after downgrading p5-DBIx-Class as suggested, works like a charm now, including the most recent portupgrade to SBS 7.5.1.
Does anyone have a feel for where the real "issue" lies here? Wondering if this is a SBS issue or a p5-DBIx-Class issue. It looks to me like something in the newer p5-DBIx-Class is being "misunderstood" by SBS, resulting in the transaction errors.
