The Classic won't do 24/96 by itself, it needs to downsample to do that. I believe the default is to do it correctly. (The release notes for 7.3.2 say: "Improved playback of high-resolution audio tracks. Sound eXchange (SoX) now resamples higher-rate FLAC or Ogg tracks to lower sample-rate FLAC compatible with your player. ") Ie, 24/96 should be downsampled to 24/48 by default. (And 24/88.2 should be 24/44.1) -- snarlydwarf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80708 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
