Seems to be a common problem but I failed to get a fix to work.

I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 on one physical drive and have all of my media
on another (ntfs). Slimsever is in and working, the Squeezebox connects
through to it fine. The media drive appears to mount automatically OK,
I can see it in 'Places' and can see all of the files in Rhythmbox. It
appears to have been given the name '/media/Local Disk'. I can't
however see the disk or directory in the Slimserver setup screen. The
reason for this would seem to be that '/media/Local Disk' belongs to me
'david', and 'squeezeboxserver' needs permission to access it.

I've tried 'gksudo nautilus', but this won't let me change anything.
I've tried 'chmod -R' type commands, but get invalid directory errors.
I beginning to think this is where the issue is. In the terminal, if i
navigate to '/media' and 'ls', it returns 'Local' (blocked in green)
and alongside 'Local Disk' (in blue text). If I then try a 'cd /Local
Disk', it comes back 'bash: cd: /local: no such file or directory'. Is
this a directory name issue? As far as I'm aware I didn't name it, in
fact i've tried to rename it (to something without spaces) via Nautilus
and it said the feature wasn't supported by the back end!

Help please, but go gently.
