Why ? The only reason I suggested using WMA was to avoid the transcoding of AAC by the server. But if you are using a software player then you will have transcoding of WMA by the server - this is the same issue you wanted to avoid and worse still mplayer will use more memory than faad. Avoid trying to play AAC and WMA audio on software player if your SBS server has an arm processor of about 500-800MHz.
