I updated my Ubuntu server to 7.6.0 this morning from 7.5.6, and it
ran pretty smoothly. It wiped and rescanned my entire library, which
took far, far longer than I was used to the scans taking with 7.5.6.
I tried to listen to music while the rescan was going on, and it
caused constant rebuffering to the point that I had to shut it off.
Memory usage got quite high, which I alleviated by rebooting the
server after the full scan completed. I have since added a new
5-track EP and scanned for changes, which was pretty quick.

I have not been able to listen again to see if the buffering issues
are resolved, since I'm at work, but I'll try it out tonight.

A few of my plugins were not compatible and were disabled (CDPlayer
and WaveInput and the old XM Radio plugin).

The web interface seems much more sluggish, particularly in the
Settings window. I had to wipe my browser cache for the UI to show up
correctly.

That's all I can report so far. Hope it helps.
