Hi bpa Thanks for the quick response, I have solved the problem !
I knew I needed flac to be installed but didnt think I needed anything else Until - I looked at the "Settings > Audio" page for my SliMP3 where it said "LAME NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED" :-) DOH!
