I recently blew away my Windows installation due to a nasty virus and decided to run Ubuntu, at least for a while. This means I am completely new to Linux, so please be kind ;-) I am guessing that I was looking in the wrong place (Logitech site). I thought this forum had dissappeared....glad to see it is still cooking!
I located the Linux download in the "Other" section of the version list on the Logitech site, but am having some issues. First is that Ubuntu says it is a "Low Quality Package" and should not be installed. I bypassed that and requested install anyway, and it completes. But the server does not show in installed programs. I then went to the web and found a Wiki on the subject and followed the instructions for a manual download. But no packages were located. Is the software being developed for Linux any longer? If so, can anyone assist me in locatingponting me to a link for the up to date package and instructions on how to install? I really don't want to have to reinstall Windows just to get to my music if I can avoid it. As always, All help is greatly appreciated.
