I did not feel the need for downgrading from 7.6, and never used 7.5 (jumped from 7.4 to 7.6). But I did downgrade a few times in the past without much issue. What I do: - backup the SBS files (stuff in /var/lib/squeezeboxserver, search for posts on what to backup here or on the wiki pages) - apt-get remove, auto-remove (for orphaned libs), and then dpkg install
(I think 7.5 used mysql when 7.6 uses sqllite. You might need to pull a mysql 5 installation with apt, providing the environment fit to dpkg install 7.5) -- epoch1970 Daily dose delivered by: 3 SB Classic, 1 SB Boom iPeng (iPhone + iPad) Squeezebox Server 7.6 (Debian 5.0) with plugins: MusicIP Server Power Control by Gordon Harris WeatherTime by Martin Rehfeld IRBlaster by Gwendesign (Felix) Find cover art by bpa BBC iPlayer, SwitchPlayer by Triode PowerSave by Jason Holtzapple Song Info, Song Lyrics by Erland Isaksson SaverSwitcher, ContextMenu by Peter Watkins. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91195
