Thanks to everyone who has replied.  Unfortunately I didn't get the
problem resolved.  I've found that the squeezeboxserver is in fact
starting but just doesn't see the music folder until I manually stop
the service in terminal and restart it with "sudo
/etc/init.d/squeezeboxserver start"  It then works perfectly until I
restart the computer.

I've tried the new logitech server which although it starts ok and
makes music available to my squeezebox, I can't access the web
interface. It loads the first part of the page and then stops. So I've
reverted tho SBS 7.6.2

Any other suggestions?  I'm running Ubuntu Natty 11.04
