Under debian, i see squeezeboxserver_save and squeezeboxserver processes - so that's normal.
The two init.d entries are essentially identical. You can delete the squeezeboxserver one if you like, and also clean up /etc/rcx.d for all the values of x. But that's not causing your problem.
