I very recently bought a duet and (somehow!) managed to get things all working fine with LMS running on my eeePC 900 running the stock Xandros OS thanks to some of the very helpful posts here and elsewhere. To date Ive had to start LMS manually using a command window each time I want to run it. Ive tried to get LMS to start automatically on boot with the following command: sudo update-rc.d logitechmediaserver defaults, but when I do I get a message saying the startup link already exists. Ive tried removing LMS from the startup and reinserting but I still get the same message and no automatic start on boot.
Any ideas? I should say that Ive managed to get as far as I have despite myself and am almost a complete linux ignoramus, so please, be gentle! -- peacefrog ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peacefrog's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=51595 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91910
