Are you using wifi exclusively ? Do you have many neighboring wifi nets ? Does the server shutdown at night ? Are you using DHCP without static IP address provisioning?
Your setup loses health points every time your answer is positive I'd suggest you try breaking the reliability issue in smaller chunks, applying gradual changes. Ethernet is better than wifi, esp. for the server. Power management can go wrong. Static DHCP is better than plain DHCP for bother server and players. A local music playlist is more reliable than an internet URL. -- epoch1970 Daily dose delivered by: 3 SB Classic, 1 SB Boom iPeng (iPhone + iPad) Squeezebox Server 7.6 (Debian 5.0) with plugins: MusicIP Server Power Control by Gordon Harris WeatherTime by Martin Rehfeld IRBlaster by Gwendesign (Felix) Find cover art by bpa BBC iPlayer, SwitchPlayer by Triode PowerSave by Jason Holtzapple Song Info, Song Lyrics by Erland Isaksson SaverSwitcher, ContextMenu by Peter Watkins Just Covers by Tom Kalmijn. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93083
