I played a little bit with the scanner. It seems that it does not follow dirs and symlinks. Maybe libmediascan is not changed adequately to be working on solaris.
Up to now I only did the change mentioned at the beginning of this thread. @evo4z: Could you maybe post your solution for getting libmediascan working?
