I stuck with squeezelite on my r-pi and can now control it using the squeezebox controller app for the iPhone/iPad :-) This has been working with the 3.5mm audio jack on the r-pi. But I have now bought a Behringer UCA202 USB-DAC and plugged it into the r-pi but I cannot get any audio out of it. The USB-DAC does work as I have been using it at work on my laptop today with no issues. if i run squeezelite -l I get this: root@(none):~# squeezelite -l Output devices: null - Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture) sysdefault:CARD=CODEC - USB Audio CODEC, USB Audio - Default Audio Device front:CARD=CODEC,DEV=0 - USB Audio CODEC, USB Audio - Front speakers surround40:CARD=CODEC,DEV=0 - USB Audio CODEC, USB Audio - 4.0 Surround output to Front and Rear speakers surround41:CARD=CODEC,DEV=0 - USB Audio CODEC, USB Audio - 4.1 Surround output to Front, Rear and Subwoofer speakers surround50:CARD=CODEC,DEV=0 - USB Audio CODEC, USB Audio - 5.0 Surround output to Front, Center and Rear speakers surround51:CARD=CODEC,DEV=0 - USB Audio CODEC, USB Audio - 5.1 Surround output to Front, Center, Rear and Subwoofer speakers surround71:CARD=CODEC,DEV=0 - USB Audio CODEC, USB Audio - 7.1 Surround output to Front, Center, Side, Rear and Woofer speakers iec958:CARD=CODEC,DEV=0 - USB Audio CODEC, USB Audio - IEC958 (S/PDIF) Digital Audio Output sysdefault:CARD=ALSA - bcm2835 ALSA, bcm2835 ALSA - Default Audio Device How do I tell squeezelite to use the USB-DAC?? Out of the list above I think I want to use: front:CARD=CODEC,DEV=0 - USB Audio CODEC, USB Audio - Front speakers but what syntax do I use? and will squeezelite remember to use this next time I switch the r-pi on? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ m4rky's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58032 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
