You can still use the web interface even though the server is running on
another PC.  Think of squeezeplay as making your computer work like
squeezebox hardware.  The squeezebox hardware is separate from the
server - it's a true client server setup.

I'm actually doing this right now - laptop in my lap with the web page
up of my squeezebox server which runs on a linux box in my basement. 
I'm listening through an SB3 (classic) and I'm controlling it with the
web page I'm accessing on my laptop.
