Hi I've just bought an acer notebook with ubuntu 12.04 and need step by step instructions to help configure it to act as lms to control my sb touch which has music held in attached usb hard drive (attached to touch that is)
I think I will need to configure a network. Have ethernet connections via a netgear prosafe 8 port switch. Net hub up stairs to switch then two eth cables, one to Touch other to netbook.
