0.8beta1: - fixes a few error messages - adds an internal capability to allow local files to be played directly rather than via LMS (see below) I've also built an armv5te version of this, but not actually tested so interested in feedback. Additionally, I've created a server plugin called Local Player which is intended to simplify installation of squeezelite if you want to run it on the server machine. It includes the main binaries (although codecs still need to installed from your distro). It also allows direct streaming of the file data from the disk to squeezelite bypassing the server once the track has started. This is an experiment to see if it helps performance for smaller low power servers streaming higher bitrate files. It only works in the case where the file is played direct from the start (no skipping) and when the player is not synchronised - otherwise normal playback will be used which always pulls the data through the server.
