I am currently testing with a generic onboard soundcard which definitely is fixed at 48kHz, so Squeezelite is doing the right thing! No worries, I was just wondering if this is ALSA or the application changing the device, because if ALSA has incomplete hardware information it might resample unnecessarily. So asking differently, does Squeezelite find out about the hardware capabilties itself, or does it rely on ALSA driver info? (BTW, when selecting a 48kHz file, Squeezelite nicely switches back to hw:0.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ instaud's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31795 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97046 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
