There are some third party version if you search the forum , including one that do 192khz .
For the latest years the Logitech provided one was buggy and actually never worked out of the box on Ubuntu , it required some tinkering to get going . However there is always the source code , so it can be compiled and built on anything , but that also require some knowledge . And for playback in my Linux desktop I use squeezelite instead and controll it with the web UI if this is the server machine there is a local playback plugin that does this in a very easy way . And of course as it is a " squeezebox " it will be controllable from all the usual places like web-UI or phone apps etc . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97965 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
