It's got to meet CE emissions standards so is likely to be no worse than what's powering your netbook, and it has the advantage that it only has to be large enough to supply a few watts (plus enough for the external HDDs if you use USB-powered laptop ones). Because of the low power draw it would also be easy to use a nice linear PSU instead, and it only needs a single 5V supply. That's my likely upgrade path for these - new case and ground-up custom power supply.
