Hi, describe "loud"? when i kill and restart squeezelite i can hear a (one) sound - like the olders days when i put the needle to fast onto my vinyls. Did you hear a sound, when you power on the System that hosts your squeezebox also? Is it louder - the same or different? In my case when i start the Server i hear a sound similar to that in the v1.0rc4. Compare my Alsamixer with yours 14486 soundcheck wrote: > > If it's not the case.
