I ripped the same song to WAV using Windows Media Player earlier today.
I opened both the ALAC and WAV versions in Sound Forge and did the 'nul'
test by overlaying one on the other and reversing the phase on on of
them.
Analysing the file; total cancellation ('inf' throughout the file) so
yea, they're identical.
I will try ripping to native FLAC and trying that directly and report
back.
Doing the debug now...
