Yep that was it, the server was set to FLAC->FLAC and WAV->PCM. The 176 and 192 files I was trying to use were WAV. This is weird because I had this set properly a couple days ago. I was running the same server and hardware on SBT with EDO and 176 and 192 worked. Somehow something changed.
Anyway I now get clicks and pops at 176, it might be a hardware problem, I have to look into it. The stream0 shows that async is working so the first order software issues are probably not it. It's probably a race condition with the reclocker. For some reason 176 in the XMOS implementations seems to have slightly different interface timing than other sample rates. I've seen this in other XMOS implementations.
