Keyboard buttons are the same as squeezeplay, I'll document the ones in
the current code if they are any different, but here's the original
squeezeplay wiki page:
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Squeezeplay

If you have a flirc adaptor and program it with the config file on I
posted

then a squeezeplay IR remote should work..... (this is the target use
case)

As for the now playing display - the original HD one was based on the
Touch small skin and included the button bar on the bottom of the
screen. However at least one person (I think Erland) suggested that was
confusing as there no touch capability, so I removed it. It can easily
be added back or we can create additional skin options.

Re IR remotes. I'm currently playing with a skin which gives a 2D grid
of menu items which shows the album menu in a 8x4 grid. This looks
nice, but it exposes a problem with the Squeezebox remote in that it
uses right and left to mean select and back. So if we offer this skin
as an option it is likely that people may want to experiement with non
squeezebox remotes with additional buttons. This will work with flirc
though as it's just additional buttons.
