The web-gui is talking about the on-board sgtl5000 audio interface, and only the sgtl5000 audio interface! You should not normally need to set that 4th alsa params value. squeezelite should figure it out. There has to a reason to want to force it to a specific value. There is with the sgtl5000. Not forcing it to 16 bit results in distorted audio! And the web gui makes it clear..... "Please be aware that once this value has been set and saved, it will remain if you change the selected Audio Device. So if you choose another device which is 24 bit capable, before saving, remember to delete the contents of the Alsa Params field. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98544 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
