Hi Triode,

I have spent a while getting the visual studio optimisation settings to
be the best for the wasapi wav player I've written and was wanting to
try and compile PortAudio using them to see if windows squeezelite sound
quality could be improved eg PA recommend the fast setting for floating
point model, I found that precise gave a better sound. There are loads
of other settings which I have found through trial and error eg
optimising for speed, profile guided optimisation etc. Also, the vs2012
optimisations are superior to vs2010.

Think it would be useful for people who would appreciate better sound
from squeezelite. Either it will make a difference or not, I'm willing
to try it to see.

Did you find it easy to compile in vs express, any tips ? Not sure if
you described the process earlier in this thread.

Thanks
