Hi Clive, I hope you can help my out with this issue. Today I have tried, for the first time ever, the WIFI connection on the wandboard. It would appear to me that something is not working properly. I have set up the WEP instead of the WPA-PSK, in my router wireless settings. This is what I get with ifconfig (it doesn't get assigned any IP address from the router):
$ ifconfig eth0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 192.168.0.11 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.0.255 inet6 fe80::21f:7bff:feb2:359 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x20<link> ether 00:1f:7b:b2:03:59 txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet) RX packets 1747 bytes 2336722 (2.2 MiB) RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 0 TX packets 1053 bytes 75884 (74.1 KiB) TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0 lo: flags=73<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING> mtu 16436 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 255.0.0.0 inet6 ::1 prefixlen 128 scopeid 0x10<host> loop txqueuelen 0 (Local Loopback) RX packets 4 bytes 432 (432.0 B) RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 0 TX packets 4 bytes 432 (432.0 B) TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0 wlan0: flags=4099<UP,BROADCAST,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet6 fe80::422c:f4ff:feae:1799 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x20<link> ether 40:2c:f4:ae:17:99 txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet) RX packets 4 bytes 240 (240.0 B) RX errors 0 dropped 4 overruns 0 frame 0 TX packets 7 bytes 606 (606.0 B) TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0 I double checked and both the cable (inside the wand board) and the antenna seem to be well connected. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ albertone74's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=23863 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98544 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
