Well, after a router reboot, now the file plays to end without noise!? BUT if I then choose another track there's a loud click noise before the new file plays .... I'm running out of options here! It's definitely only connected with the Touch and analog output using the remote. Bizarrely, if I use squeezeplay to control the Touch then there's no noise problem.
