I hope I don't end up regretting this..... ;) I have a shairport rpm package. (Someone asked me if I'd provide it for the F18 x86_86 repo a while back.) I've just verified that it builds on ARM after pulling the latest 1.0-dev branch from git. So I could push it to our ARM repo.... Here's the rub. I don't use iTunes and I don't personally want to deal with support issues associated with it. The first one being port 9000..... Why does my LMS on the WB not start anymore? (Cause shairport also uses port 9000 and grabbed it first!) So again, it comes back to documentation. Someone needs to document that you need to stop and disable the squeezeboxserver service before enabling and starting shairport. There is a /etc/sysconfig/shairport config file, with a single "OPTIONS=" tag that is referenced from the service file. ie. if you want to set the name "-a Wandboard", you'd do it there. But there won't be a web gui way of configuring this unless someone else wants to write it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JackOfAll's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3069 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98544 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
