I'm moved the shairport rpm package into the repo. I hope it helps you
guys, but I'm not willing to provide any support for it. Anyone using it
needs to know what they are doing, that they need to stop and disable
squeezeboxserver (if you are using it) and squeezelite services before
enabling and starting the shairport service. The service will not
automatically be enabled and started as part of the install. The options
file, /etc/sysconfig/shairport, will need editing before you start the
service, assuing you want to hear any sound. (Default is to start it
with "-a Shairport -o dummy".)
The package has a dependency on avahi-tools, so that should be pulled
in, assuming you haven't already manually installed it, so that
avahi-publish-service is available for the shairport binary to use at
startup to announce itself.
