Maybe the overall physical size of the library is a factor too? I've got around 1.5 TB of music, it's all quite extensively tagged and cover art is as large as I can find. MusicIP (only mixable status) & SmartMix are activated as well. I don't say that there cannot be anything wrong with my scanning process, I'd even say there is, as the Wandboard LMS sees around 4000 less tracks than my Windows box ... Even so, the difference in going from 11hrs to 2 hours is (for me at least) irrefutable.
