Yes, "rm /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/artwork.*". Stop the squeezeboxserver service before you rm those files and start it after. I don't think a rescan will cause the pre-caching of artwork, (only a full scan), but as you access artwork, on-the-fly, it should be resized and then put into the cache for future use.
