Hi Clive At a guess I reckon that LCD might be the MCIMX28LCD (mentioned here http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/user_guide/EVK_imx28_QuickStart.pdf) as that is supported via the official iMX6 dev boards and so in the Freescale BSP. I"ll ask around if I can find the manufacturer of that and see if it matches up with your findings.
