The extra features sound good but If I want to use a remote control
(beside my phone app) I will end up needing an USB hub anyway.

When you have time please do a test with an Amanero and an USB Drive
connected to Wandboard through an USB hub. Please test upsampling to
both 352.8KHz and 384KHz from different sample rate files: 44.1KHz,
48KHz, 88.2KHz... and also different file sizes. I'm curious if it
handles large files well: CD ripped in one large FLAC.

I was one of the lucky guys to test Ian's I2S-PCM board so I have the
configuration you described in front of me (1 x AD1865) + Pass D1 as
I/V
