Hi Willem As far as I understand Triode is working on squeezelite in order to make it possible to upsample. Right now it only allows synchronous upsampling that is: "At present it is only upsampling and only to the highest power of 2 multiple of the input sample rate which is equal to or below the max rate of the output device. [which is the use case what was defined] So at present it upsamples to synchronous rates only." But he is working on asynchronous upsampling as well, so that any sample rate can be upsampled to the max rate supported by the USB-DAC http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?97046-Announce-Squeezelite-a-small-headless-squeezeplay-emulator-for-linux-(alsa-only)&p=752155&viewfull=1#post752155 Steen piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi (25MB in RAM).
