I am afraid my little linux knowledge would have no help to you,
although I could help you to test if you would like to.

The following are the output from option 3 together with a few related
information. To recap, TE8802 is an Async and TE7022 is Adpative.

15003

I totally agree with you and therefore I have few more questions for
you.

1. -a <b>:<p>:<f>:<m>
b is the buffer time in ms, it should be lower the better. How about p,
f and m? Could you explain a bit about these switches? There seems
inadequate information online.

2. I have one Aysnc (TE8802) and one Adaptive (TE7022) USB DACs. How do
I know it is really working in Async Mode?

3. I run cat /proc/asound/card0/stream0, the running status show me the
momentary freq = 48004 Hz even I am playing 44100 Hz, What is wrong?

4. If I play 24bit 96KHz file, is that a command to show me that it is
really output in 24bit 96KHz? I disabled the flac/sox in the format ->
WAV in LMS so that it won't change to play WAV via flac sox.

Thanks and I am still exploring different tweaks and hardware
combinations.
