** While typing this message I've had a pretty major system crash - more
at end of post **

Just wanted to expand on my early experiences with R6 on my Quad.

I've connected my Amanero USB and am able to play with upsampling to
384K without any noticable issues. htop reports CPU usage of around 14%
for sqeezelite whilst upsampling.

I have LMS running on Wand and had a couple of issues with scanning
music from a mounted samba share from other Fedora box. First basic
scan seemed to go OK, I then enabled smartmix plugin and that triggered
a re-scan (as I expected) however the profile export took 40 minutes!!!
Usually the export on my main Fedora box takes a tenth of this time.

Then when this scan completed it decided to start a full scan all over
again of its own accord for no apparant reason (not seen that happen in
a LONG time). So aborted the scan, cleaned the cache and let it start a
fresh scan again and went to bed. Result this morning:

I'm going to attach my music drive locally (SATA) and see how much that
helps - i'd imagine quite a bit.

** CRASH **

While typing this post I was listening to music from the Wand / Amanero
and about thirty minutes in to first album the Wand has crashed. From
the HDMI display it looks like it is trying to reboot but not getting
any where - the TV has just been flicking between no signal and active
HDMI signal but with no display. Left for a couple of minutes and no
response.

Cycle power first time and same happens again....

Cycle power second time - same ......

Cycle power third time and it boots OL (phew).

Little concerning - is this hardware or software problem??? Will see
what happens and report back. Meanwhile I'm off to check the log files.

Cheers
Richard
