I have spent no less that 6 hours trying to get my MyTek to play music
using the usb2 port. I have used "cleanUpdate" without success. I even
loaded a fresh R6 image and used "cleanInstall" again without any
success.
I agree with you that the MyTek firmware loads, I see that when I use
PuTTY. My problem is that 1) "aplay -l" reveals NO usb port after
loading the mytek firmware and 2) NO usb2 "Audio Device" is listed on
the Squeezelite Player tab.

Now, I must ask you: can you play music using Squeezelite on your
Wandboard Quad USB2?

SqueezeCenter 7.3.4 running on a DIY PC, Windows 7 64 bit o.s., with
Inguz Audio EQ/DRC. (1) Transporter, (4) Booms & (2) CSOS
SqueezeliteWands connected through a Linksys WRT54gs router and Linksys
WAP54g access point. Using an iPad with both SqueezePad & iPeng for
controllers. Transporter => Rotel RC1070 preamp => Rotel RB1080 2
channel amp => Bowers & Wilkins 805 Speakers.

Headphone setup: Transporter => Woo Audio WA22 balanced headphone amp =>
Sennheiser HD800 headphones.
