First I checked that I could get the freeze to happen by cold booting
with a slower class 4 SDHC card, after having blown away the contents of
~jivelite/.jivelite/ , which proved to be the case.

Next, I did the
Code:
--------------------
    sudo csos-cleanUpdate-testing jivelite jivelite-autologin
--------------------
and repeated the same sequence. I saw about 5 repetitions of text lines
saying "waiting for network" followed by about 4 similar lines of text
saying "waiting for time update" and then Jivelite started up into the
language selection screen. No freeze was observed; I could finish the
configuration of language & HDskin without problems.

I also tried restarting Jivelite by selecting the Quit top-level menu
item, having removed the ethernet patch cable from the Wandboard. I
observed the expected "waiting for network" messages every second until
I re-inserted the ethernet RJ45 plug, which would trigger Jivelite to
start up into the menu screen.
