Well good news on the popping I originally experienced after upgrading to 1.0.5. After a reset of LMS, I've had no more issues after a full day of listening. All my stuff is 16/44 or even lower internet streams though. PiCore has finally turned my Pi into a true music streaming appliance, rather than an frustrating experiment.
